Creams, Ointments & Gels Line

Vacuum emulsification for stable, homogeneous texture

The line is built around a vacuum emulsifying vessel with a high-shear homogeniser, preventing air entrapment and delivering a uniform droplet size and physical stability across shelf life. The bulk transfers through closed piping to an automatic tube filler with sealing and batch-code printing.

The manufacturing route on this line

The stations a batch passes through inside the line, in order.

  1. Stage 1: Vacuum emulsification

The oil and water phases are prepared in a vessel under vacuum, which keeps air out.

  2. Stage 2: High-shear homogenisation

A high-shear homogeniser evens out droplet size and gives the product a stable texture.

  3. Stage 3: Closed transfer

The bulk moves through closed, clean-in-place (CIP) piping.

  4. Stage 4: Tube filling & sealing

Automatic filling into 15, 30 and 50 g tubes, followed by end sealing.

  5. Stage 5: Coding & packaging

Batch code and expiry are printed, the leaflet inserted and the secondary pack closed.

What distinguishes this line

  • Ointments, creams and hydrogels on a single validated base.

  • Accelerated and long-term stability testing for every formulation.

  • Closed filling minimising microbial contamination.

Every batch passes through the same quality system

Nothing leaves this line before clearing seven documented control points and the responsible pharmacist has signed the complete batch record.
