Privacy policy
We collect as little data as possible. This page sets out exactly what we collect, why, how long we keep it and how you stay in control of it.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
In short
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
- We collect only what you send through the form, and use it to reply to you.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, or its deletion, at any time.
Scope of this policy
This policy explains how Ameen Pharma for Pharmaceutical Industries handles data it may receive through this website. The site introduces the company and its products; it does not sell medicines and does not process payments.
It applies to this website alone. Our pages on social platforms are additionally governed by the policies of those platforms.
Who is responsible for your data
The party responsible for processing is Ameen Pharma for Pharmaceutical Industries, based in the Industrial City of Al-Ra'i, northern Aleppo Governorate, Syrian Arab Republic. You may write to us about anything concerning your data at the general enquiries address listed on the Contact page.
Data we collect
We collect the minimum data necessary, namely:
- Data you voluntarily submit through the contact form: name, email, phone, organisation and message text.
- What you attach to a pharmacovigilance report about the product: trade name, batch number, expiry date and a description of the reaction.
- Limited technical data logged automatically for security and stability, such as IP address, browser type and request time.
- Preferences stored locally in your browser, such as language and light or dark appearance — these never leave your device.
Why we use this data
We use your data solely to respond to your enquiry, to assess a report concerning the safety of one of our products, or to improve the site's performance and security. We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent, and we take no automated decisions about you.
The legal bases for processing are your consent when you submit the form, a legal obligation in the case of pharmacovigilance reports, and legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse.
Pharmacovigilance reports
Reports concerning adverse reactions are treated with particular confidentiality and may be shared in anonymised form with health regulatory authorities where pharmaceutical regulations require it — a legal obligation that cannot be waived.
If you report on behalf of another patient, send only what is needed to assess the report medically: age, sex and concomitant medicines are usually enough, and a full name is not required.
How we protect your data
We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the nature of the data, including:
- End-to-end encryption of the connection to the site over HTTPS.
- Access to correspondence restricted to staff who need it to do their work.
- Rate limiting and automated-submission protection on the contact form.
- Periodic review of permissions and access logs.
Retention
We retain contact correspondence for as long as is necessary to complete and follow up on our response, then delete it unless another regulation requires it to be kept. Pharmacovigilance reports are retained for the period required by applicable pharmaceutical regulations, which is by its nature longer than for ordinary correspondence.
Your rights
At any time you may request to:
- Access the data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Delete your data, unless a legal obligation prevents it — as with pharmacovigilance reports.
- Withdraw your consent to processing, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before that point.
- Object to a particular processing activity, or ask that it be restricted.
Children's data
This site is not directed at anyone under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child's data reaches us without a guardian's permission, we delete it as soon as we become aware. The only exception is data arriving within a pharmacovigilance report concerning a minor patient, which is subject to the same confidentiality obligations.
Transfers outside the country
Some technical data may be processed on hosting providers' servers outside the Syrian Arab Republic. We choose providers that commit to recognised protection standards, and share with them only the data needed to operate the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy whenever the way we handle data changes, or the applicable regulations change. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of this page, and an update takes effect from the date it is published.

For any question about this policy or to exercise your rights, write to us through the contact form or at the general enquiries address. We reply to privacy requests within two business days and complete them within thirty days at the latest.
